Job summary

Graphic Packaging International, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator for our paper mill. You will make equipment adjustments, perform cleaning, and complete tasks safely and efficiently per SOP, with a focus on meeting production and quality standards while supporting our operations.

You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a physically demanding environment, and operate hand and electrical tools.

• Basic mechanical ability to adjust equipment for production and quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Notify supervisor or maintenance of equipment or paper issues per SOP.
• Document daily/monthly rounds and record problems on the Counter Measure Sheet.
• Monitor and adjust equipment, including checks for jams and malfunctions.
• Brush PSI and knockdown showers per SOP.
• Assist crew during paper breaks and operate a bobcat to clean debris.
• Operate forklift to retrieve supplies and remove debris.
• Retrieve and distribute supplies from Stores to the crew.
