Job summary

Staff Perm in Reno, NV is seeking an Assembler I to support production by assembling components, painting and finishing, and building pallets.

No experience required; candidate must pass a background and drug screening, including THC. The role runs on a 6:00am–3:30pm schedule (Mon-Thu) and Fri mornings, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. This is a contract-to-hire position emphasizing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Manufacturing/warehouse/construction experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, or assembly instructions
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to assemble components or products.
• Use hand tools, power tools, cranes, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks.
• Build wooden pallets and crates according to specifications.
• Measure, cut, grind, and assemble materials with precision and efficiency.
• Inspect and verify the quality of assembled products to ensure they meet specified standards.
• Identify and report any defects or issues with components or finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Report material shortages, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
• Assist in other production areas as necessary
