Job summary

Medical Devices Company in San Diego seeks an entry-level Packaging Technician I to perform routine bottling, labeling, and packaging tasks per SOPs. You will read batch records and work instructions, maintain basic data entry, and collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years relevant experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Fundamental computer skills.
• Perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic packaging process flow.
• Manage basic inventory and supplies flow.
• Learn bottling techniques for all single vial materials.
• Perform basic packaging processes including bagging and labeling.
• Use pipette, scale, and other packaging equipment as required.
• Support label creation and operate labeling equipment.
• Meet production objectives with quality.
• Follow general instructions on tasks.
• Support packaging supplies/material management.
• Support manual and technical data sheets preparation and operate related equipment.
• Participate in shift start-up meetings.
• Lift 20-30 pounds safely.
• Input packaging data in SAP or MR systems.
• Follow department guidelines and EH&S policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
