Job summary

Pennsylvania Ag Connection is seeking a Packer in Hanover, PA for a full-time, entry-level general labor position on the production floor. You will manually pack products into boxes, trays, and cartons, and perform final quality inspections of finished goods.

Responsibilities include folding and labeling cartons, performing visual inspections for packaging integrity, stacking on pallets, and maintaining clean work areas following 5S and safety guidelines. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1 year production experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cartons/trays for packaging by folding, taping, sorting, and labeling.
• Performs visual inspections of final product packaging for integrity and communicates packaging problems.
• Stacks cartons/trays on pallets using correct patterns; may operate pallet jack up to 300lbs.
• Performs sanitation tasks and adheres to 5S and safety procedures.
• May operate tray making/stapling machines and assist with equipment changes.
