Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks a Pharmacy Technician in California to support the outpatient pharmacy at Woodland Hills. Under supervision, you will assist packaging, labeling, and repackaging of medications and support the pharmacy team in daily operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, California Pharmacy Technician License, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. Onsite work with variable shifts and potential travel to multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician License (California) or equivalent.
• Must pass entrance exam and background check.
• Knowledge of current drug forms, dosage strengths, generic & trade name equivalents.
• Knowledge of Federal & State laws/regulations regarding pharmaceutical services.
• Ability to learn and operate the pharmacy computer system and equipment.
• Lift or transport items of 1–50 lbs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish Level II required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform packaging, counting, pouring, or mixing pharmaceutical.
• Place product into a container.
• Affix labels onto containers.
• Packaging and repackaging.
• Performs other duties as required.
