Job summary

Implant and Facial Surgery in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Oral Surgery Assistant I to join a dynamic team. The role involves observing, training, and assisting with minor surgical procedures under supervision, in a busy oral surgery practice.

You will set up for procedures, assist surgeons, manage EMR entries, and perform adjunct tasks such as radiographs and impressions as needed. This is a full-time on-site position offering benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of approved nitrous oxide course.
• Anesthesia-related continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Set up for non-sterile and sterile procedures with instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist surgeon during minor procedures, including suctioning, retracting, and passing instruments under supervision.
• Document EMR entries, paperwork, and logs during procedures.
• Capture radiographs, impressions, intraoral scans, and related tasks as directed.
