Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners in Las Vegas seeks an Ophthalmic Assistant to support ophthalmologists in delivering eye care services. This entry-level role combines clinical and administrative tasks to help maintain smooth patient flow.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities to contribute to patient education and to learn diagnostic testing such as Visual Aids, OCT, and corneal topography.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a customer facing position preferred.
• Medical related experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Proficient in use of internet.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform specialized eye exam testing while streamlining patient flow.
• Other diagnostic testing such as: Visual Aids, OCT, Corneal topography, etc...
• Providing phone support with request for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
• Educate patients regarding administration of medications and pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by physician.
• Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, such as HIPPA guidelines, to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Assists with opening and closing duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
