Job summary

BWC Terminals is seeking an Entry-Level Customer Service Representative to support terminal operations by managing customer orders, shipping documentation, and data entry tasks.

You will learn operating service orders across all transportation modes, handle bills of lading, and ensure DOT and customer-specific requirements are met. You will interact with customers and visitors professionally, coordinate order fulfillment, and receive initial training before moving to independent work.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and detail orientation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic terminal operational activities related to Shipping/Receiving and Modes.
• Learn all OSOs (operations service orders) for all modes.
• Handle truck paperwork, including BOLs creation, Order Entry, and Customer Requests.
• Complete data-entry and billing tasks, including Closing Orders and recording charges.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure accuracy of records.
• Assist customers and visitors, directing calls and questions to staff.
• Provide back-up support to other terminal functions as needed.
• Review inventory detail reports for accuracy and compliance.
