Job summary

Trinity Rail in Jonesboro, AR is seeking an Entry Level NDT Quality Inspector to join our plant team. You will visually inspect, measure, and record findings to ensure conformance with standards and codes, and you may pursue NDE certifications within six months.

You’ll inspect incoming and in-process materials, operate calibration and inspection equipment, and maintain accurate inspection records while adhering to safety rules and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected.
• Ability to achieve appropriate NDE certifications within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products throughout the process.
• May apply single or multiple inspection processes using various NDE methods.
• Maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment.
• Completes inspection records and reports.
• Be familiar with appropriate codes, regulations, procedures and standards.
• Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
