Job summary

Acuren is seeking an Entry Level NDT Assistant to support operations in Indianapolis, IN. This is a callout/travel position where you will assist in calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations following written instructions and recording results.

You will help set up NDT equipment, support radiographers with calibration, conduct tests to detect defects, and ensure accurate documentation while complying with safety and client requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred for advancement or training.
• Technical background is a plus for NDT work.
• Must be able to pass background checks and screening as required by clients.

Responsibilities

• Set up and use NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers with NDT calibration.
• Assist in testing to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record inspection results and data.
• Assist with NDT procedures and transport equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary

Acuren is seeking Entry Level NDT Assistant to support operations in Indianapolis, IN. THIS WILL BE A CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION. NDT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG/ALCOHOL AND BACKGROUND SCREENS PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
