Job summary

Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support a NAVSEA business financial manager and build a career in government financial management with on-the-job training.

Active DoD Secret Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required. You will manage Navy accounts, create requisitions and SOWs, and monitor NAVSEA funds via the NAVSEA ERP system, with opportunities for growth within finance.

Qualifications

• Active DoD clearance required
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• 1–5 years financial experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong communications skills and customer focus
• Experience with Navy ERP is a plus
• BA/BS preferred

Responsibilities

• Daily management of Navy accounts and funds
• Create purchase requisitions and statements of work for Navy disbursements
• Ensure purchasing documents comply with NAVSEA policies
• Monitor NAVSEA funds and prepare weekly/monthly reports
• Inquire about funding status and recovered funds if needed
• Manage TPSs in NAVSEA NEPS and generate status reports
• Create and update training and process documents
• File documents on network
