Kooner Fleet Management Solutions in Oxnard, CA is seeking an entry-level Mobile Trailer Mechanic/Technician to perform onsite preventative maintenance, light repairs, and DOT inspections on commercial trailers. You’ll use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment in a mobile field environment, supported by a company-issued service truck.

• At least 1-2 years hands-on technician experience on Class 6-8 trucks or trailers.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and light follow-up repairs on commercial trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Put your expertise to work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to get the job done right.
• Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry-standard repair times.
• Take ownership of a company-issued service truck and ensure safety compliance.
