Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring an Entry-Level Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service fleets in a field environment. You’ll perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on commercial trailers, using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

You’ll work with a supportive team and a company-provided service vehicle to keep trucks road-ready. This entry-level role is ideal for recent tech school grads or individuals with 1–2 years of hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on technician experience on Class 6-8 trucks or trailers.
• DOT inspection and preventative maintenance experience is a plus.
• Comfort with using mobile apps, navigations systems, and digital tools to document repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and light repairs on commercial trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs correctly.

Where You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and light follow up repairs on Commercial trailers in a mobile field environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• At least1-2years of hands-ontechnicianexperienceworking on Class 6-8 trucksortrailers.

• Must be20+ with a clean driving recordand avalid driver’s license.

Work Environment

• Work in dynamic, high-traffic areas – safety and precision are key.

• Expect exposure to dust, diesel fumes, and noise typical of a shop or yard environment.

• Safely handle chemicals, oils, and grease as part of repair work.

• Be ready to lift, move, and position heavy equipment or components.

• Stay active – you'll bend, kneel, crawl, and crouch to access vehicle components.
