Job summary

Koch Enterprises Family of Companies is seeking an entry-level Class C Welder for 2nd shift to join our Cell 5 welding team. This role provides hands-on training, skill development, and a clear path for advancement in a manufacturing setting.

Pay begins at $20.50–$21.50 per hour with a $2 per hour shift differential. The shift runs Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 1:30am, ideal for recent welding graduates or those with less than one year of experience who want to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade school certification OR less than 1 year of welding experience.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Stud welding and tack welding doors, sills, handles, and hinges.
• Grinding and finishing work as needed.
• Training in multiple welding positions.
• Learning to read blueprints and part lists.
• Developing measurement and tape-reading skills.
• Safely operating shop tools and equipment.
• Following all safety and PPE requirements.

What You'll Do

As a Class C Welder, you'll be an important part of our Cell 5 welding team, helping produce quality products while learning and expanding your capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Stud welding
• Tack welding doors, sills, handles, and hinges
• Grinding and finishing work as needed
• Training in multiple welding positions
• Learning to read blueprints and part lists
• Developing measurement and tape-reading skills
• Safely operating shop tools and equipment
• Following all safety and PPE requirements
