100Hires, Inc. is hiring entry-level MIG welders for a manufacturing facility in La Crosse, Virginia. This role is ideal for recent welding school graduates or welders looking to gain hands-on experience in a production environment.

Candidates must complete a high school or technical welding program or pass a 2G horizontal weld test with both visual and bend test requirements. Day-to-day duties include MIG welding on structural steel components, following blueprints, and adhering to welding

Qualifications

• Completed a High School Welding Program or Technical School Welding Program.
• Pass a 2G horizontal weld test (visual inspection and bend test).
• Commitment to safety and quality procedures in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform Production MIG welding on structural steel components.
• Weld using .045 wire.
• Work within established welding parameters (24–30 amps, 400–500 wire speed).
• Perform welds with an emphasis on CJP (Complete Joint Penetration).
• Perform arc gouging as required.
• Receive material that has been fitted and complete welds according to blueprints and weld locations.
