Job summary

Amneal is seeking an Associate Scientist, Microbiology to perform microbiological testing of air, water, raw materials, in-process and finished dosage forms. The role includes documenting activities, analyzing results, and supporting investigations under cGMP guidelines.

Requirements include a BA/BS in Microbiology and at least 1 year of related testing experience. The incumbent will prepare media, perform quality checks, and maintain lab records in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field.
• 1 year or more in Testing of clinical/pharmaceutical products.
• Must possess working knowledge of analytical microbiology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological analysis of air, water, raw materials, in-process and finished products.
• Prepare culture media and perform quality checks (pH, sterility, growth promotion, indicative/inhibitory tests).
• Create and maintain laboratory records; accurately document steps and report results.
• Assist in investigations of laboratory results when required.
