Job summary

Cambridge Security Seals seeks an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer to support production, continuous improvement, and process engineering at our Pomona, NY facility. This on-site role focuses on troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementing process changes to reduce cycle time and downtime.

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree and strong CAD skills, with hands-on floor experience and a drive for quality. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; in-house training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks with 3D modeling.
• Understanding of plastic injection molding processes and laser marking.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator for logos/artwork.
• MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot daily production on the floor.
• Identify root causes of downtime and defects, implement corrective actions.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate process changes to improve quality and throughput.
• Assist on fixture design and tooling with CAD.
• Develop CAD drawings and documentation for production.
• Ensure ISO and UL compliance, including inspections.
• Document procedures and training materials.
• Collaborate across multi-discipline project teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
