Job summary

Cambridge Security Seals seeks an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer to support production, continuous improvement, and process engineering at our Pomona, NY facility. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting floor issues, identifying root causes, and implementing improvements to reduce cycle time and downtime while enhancing quality.

You will apply CAD modeling in SolidWorks to support fixture design and tooling requests for Automation & Controls and Tooling & Molding teams, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drawings.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding and laser marking is a plus.
• Experience with CAD/drafting and office software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production by troubleshooting equipment, process, and quality issues.
• Identify root causes of downtime and implement corrective actions.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time.
• Evaluate process changes to improve quality and throughput.
• Assist fixture design and tooling requests; perform CAD work in SolidWorks.
• Develop drawings, specs, and documentation; ensure ISO/UL compliance.
