Pacific Sunwear Stores LLC in Anaheim, CA is seeking an entry-level Merchant Coordinator to support the merchandising team and assist with buying processes. You will handle admin tasks, data entry, and cross-department coordination to keep product information accurate and workflows smooth.

You will gain foundational exposure to retail merchandising, inventory management, and supplier communications, while collaborating with marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure timely product availability

Qualifications

• Entry-level position, 0–2 years’ experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with inventory management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules, prepare reports, and organize meetings for the buying team.
• Assist in coordinating team activities and product sample handling.
• Input product data into inventory systems, ensuring accuracy in descriptions, pricing, and stock levels.
• Help manage the flow of product data between the buying team and other departments.
• Assist with routine communications to suppliers, such as confirming order details, scheduling shipments, and tracking deliveries.
• Help monitor stock levels and assist in inventory audits.
• Ensure product data is up to date in internal systems.
• Perform basic market research and compile information on competitor offerings and product trends.
