M.C. Dean is seeking an MV Line Tech 1 for entry-level training in electrical distribution systems, both overhead and underground. You will learn and assist with construction, maintenance, and repairs under close supervision.

Role involves operating and maintaining line equipment, observing strict safety protocols, and working outdoors in varied weather conditions at heights up to 60 feet. High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with construction, maintenance, and repairs on electrical distribution systems (overhead and underground).
• Learn and assist with operating, inspecting, and maintaining aerial devices, digger/derricks, excavation equipment and related gear.
• Observe safety precautions around energized circuits and hazardous chemicals.
• Dig pole and anchor holes; load/unload, install, and transport framing poles; set transformers and pull conductors.
• Assist with distribution switching, documentation, and mapping information.
