Responsibilities

• Promote the facility mission, vision and values in daily work.
• Evaluate and solve problems in collection and processing of specimens.
• Perform analytical tests on body fluids and other materials.
• Integrate data from multiple labs and resolve discrepancies.
• Confirm abnormal results and perform quality control procedures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Demonstrate professional conduct with patients and staff.
• Organize assigned workload and assist team as needed.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain competence.
• Instruct new employees and students in lab responsibilities.
• Maintain reagent and supply inventories.
• Adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Use information systems effectively in day-to-day work.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
