LCA Lab. Corp. of America is seeking an entry-level Medical Lab Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA. This casual/per diem position requires an Associate’s degree in a related field and a California Medical Lab Technician license.

Responsibilities include testing acceptability of specimens, performing technical procedures, and ensuring proper instrumentation functionality. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computers and familiarity with laboratory information systems.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsabilités

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
