Job summary

rms Company, part of the Cretex Medical family, is seeking an entry-level Production Operator Assembler I. The role involves basic machine operation, inspection, assembly, packaging, and supporting multiple production areas to produce high-quality medical device components.

Primary duties include following work instructions, 5S, and quality standards; cross-training across areas; and collaboration with a manufacturing team on 1st shift, 7:00am–3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow English instructions.
• Basic math, hand–eye coordination, and dexterity.
• Use of basic hand tools and measurement equipment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with FDA/ISO/cGMP practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and/or dimensional inspection using microscopes, gauges, calipers, or other measurement tools.
• Complete production records, quality checks, setup sheets, and history records.
• Handle cleaning chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol, detergents, or solvents.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area following 5S expectations.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and quality/ISO/cGMP requirements.
• Crosstrain across manufacturing areas and support with training.
• Operate production equipment per work instructions and monitor part quality and machine performance.
• Perform secondary operations such as trimming, deburring, and finishing of components.
• Inspect and verify part conformance after secondary operations.
