Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands-on training in a clinical setting.
• Alternative: graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Or completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Or minimum one year of medical assistant experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Support providers and patients in a team-based clinical environment.
