Job summary

Corbin Consulting Engineers in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking an entry-level mechanical process engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team. You will design mechanical and process systems for semiconductor and technology projects, including HVAC, piping, and tool installation packages.

You will coordinate with designers from multiple disciplines, participate in client design reviews, and help prepare P&ID drawings and operation sequences. A B.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• 1+ years of experience working for an architectural/engineering (A/E) consulting firm.
• Experience with advanced technology and industrial clients is preferred.
• Possessing an EIT certification, or will in the near future.
• Please provide any past work using AutoCAD, Revit, PIPE-FLO or Autodesk CFD.

Responsibilities

• Design for mechanical and process systems ranging from simple to complex.
• Coordinate with design team members across disciplines.
• Participation in client design review meetings and presentation of design strategies.
• Prepare P&ID drawings, construction specifications, sequences of operations, testing documents.
• Support construction with field verification, site observation reports, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
