Apollo Professional Solutions, Inc. in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician I for a contract-to-hire role on the 1st shift, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and benefits including overtime, medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

The role involves learning calibration-related operations, preparing and assembling components, and operating production equipment to verify flow, spray angle, and product quality. Training toward certification is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person.
• Ability to work under immediate supervision.
• Willingness to learn company policies, procedures, and job skills.
• Willingness to work overtime, extended shifts, nonstandard hours, and occasional holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate test stands to inspect nozzles, spray bars, and valves for spray quality, angle, and flow.
• Learn to operate laser marking and printing equipment according to procedures and specifications.
• Record spray parameters by serial number.
• Learn to certify product conformance through testing and documentation of results.
• May learn to disassemble, repair, and assemble products according to specifications.
• Accurately complete production documentation and labor transactions.
• Follow EHS, Quality, and Continuous Improvement standards and guidelines.
• Work under immediate supervision and follow detailed instructions.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
• Work additional hours, extended shifts, nonstandard hours, and some holidays as required by business needs.
• Perform other assigned duties.
