Dewberry has an opportunity for an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer - Plumbing/Fire Protection to join the Nashville, TN office.

Responsibilities

Work with a project team and assist in the design of building systems (Fire protection, and Plumbing) plans.
• May also assist with the design and specifications of system layouts, load calculations, hydraulic calculations, sizing and selecting equipment, piping design and editing of specifications.
• Prepare design documents using BIM Revit in accordance with Dewberry standards.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an ABET accredited university is required.
• Previous relevant internship experience preferred.
• Must possess good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is a plus.
