Dewberry has an opportunity for an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer - Plumbing/Fire Protection to join the Nashville, TN office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing building systems (Fire protection and Plumbing) plans as part of a project team.
• Help with system layout design, specifications, load calculations, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing and selection, piping design, and editing of specifications.
• Prepare design documents using BIM Revit following Dewberry standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and proficiency in MS Word and Excel is a plus.
