Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking candidates for an entry-level engineering position in the United States. In this role, you will perform assignments that develop your professional working knowledge through applicable codes, engineering calculations, and techniques.

Responsibilities include selecting equipment, preparing piping diagrams, and performing sizing calculations. Ideal candidates will have a recent Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree and be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university within the past twelve (12) months or upcoming twelve (12) months.
• Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Selecting and specifying equipment.
• Preparing flow or detailed system piping and instrumentation diagrams.
• Performing system and equipment sizing calculations.
• Establishing facility design requirements and developing the system safety basis.
