Job summary

Nosler, Inc. in Redmond, Oregon, is seeking a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer to support production equipment maintenance and process improvements.

The role combines mechanical troubleshooting with collaboration with engineering to keep tooling and machines running efficiently. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has working knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (Pro-E, SolidWorks, Inventor), plus project management, database, spreadsheet, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
• Experience with project management, database, spreadsheet, and word processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment.
• Observes, troubleshoots, and repairs operating equipment; test operates to ensure proper correction.
• Performs tooling changeovers and start-ups of production equipment.
• Operates a hone and speed lathe to hand fit tooling to tight tolerances.
• Communicates errors in drawings and suggests tooling/equipment improvements.
• Sizes, polishes, and assembles tooling sets.
• Collaborates with Engineering during R&D production runs to implement improvements.
• Other duties as directed by management.
