The role involves CAD design, BOM coordination, and collaboration with electrical engineers and suppliers. A BS in mechanical eng, up to 5 years of design experience, and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is required (advanced degree desirable).
• 0–5 years of design experience, electronics packaging expertise preferred.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and mechanical design principles; CREO preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication for multi-stakeholder interactions.

Responsibilities

• Preliminary CAD design of electronics/electronics enclosures.
• Interface with electrical engineers to size circuits and select materials.
• Ensure drawings and BOMs are accurate and complete.
• Support/Review preliminary analytical results (hand calcs or FEA).
• Write technical documents for internal/external customers.
• Participate in design reviews and product life-cycle activities.
