Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I, Electronics Packaging to design ruggedized electronics enclosures and interfaces that meet customer specs and cost targets. You will work with engineers and technicians to deliver reliable products for aerospace and defense applications.

The role requires a BS in mechanical engineering, strong CAD skills (Cre(o)), and the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders. U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is required (advanced degree desirable).
• Experience solving complex mechanical static & dynamic problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of ruggedized electronics and enclosures.
• Preliminary CAD design and interface with electrical engineers for sizing.
• Ensure drawings/documents accuracy and perform BOM checks.
• Review preliminary analytical results and participate in design reviews.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams; travel may be required.
