Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Full-Time in Corpus Christi, TX. As an entry level associate, you’ll contribute to keeping our plants running at peak efficiency by supporting reliability, providing technical support, and assisting with large-scale projects.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Support reliability improvements to enhance plant reliability and performance.
• Provide technical support to plant engineering and maintenance activities.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement large projects.
• Interface with outside companies for engineering, purchasing of materials, and construction.
