ESFM seeks a Mechanic I to operate and maintain equipment including HVAC systems, boilers, and generators at our Clark, NJ site. You will read meters and gauges, respond to service dispatches, and ensure safe, reliable operation of complex machinery. The role requires mechanical inclination and willingness to train, with full-time hours and standard benefits.

Location in Clark, NJ; Monday–Friday schedule; wage range $21–$30/hour; opportunity to contribute to a hospitality-driven facilities team.

Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination required; willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains all equipment including HVAC systems, boilers, generators, and steam equipment.
• Reads and records information from meters and gauges to verify operating conditions.
• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle.
• Inspects parts for wear and defects; replaces worn parts and tests machine operation after repair.
• Reviews inventory and orders parts; ships and receives machines and equipment.
