Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking an entry-level mechanic trainee to join our service team. You will support experienced mechanics by interpreting work orders, locating parts, and performing minor repairs under supervision.

You must be at least 17, have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 70 lbs, and pass pre-employment screenings. This role offers steady work with opportunities for advancement within a leading LTL carrier.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders and assist with minor repairs under supervision.
• Assist with accessing required parts and tools to perform work.
• Assist with testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets specs.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Employees may be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
