Job summary

Enbridge is seeking an Operations Engineer I – Measurement in Nashville, TN, to join the Gas Transmission & Midstream team. You will support accurate natural gas measurement, assist in design standards, and drive continuous improvement across field operations in the 11-state Southeast region.

The role requires a mechanical/civil/electrical engineering degree, up to 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to travel up to 50%. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical)
• 0–2+ years of related experience
• Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects, and prioritizing tasks accordingly
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to field teams, identify process improvements, and support safe, compliant operations
• Apply codes and industry standards to engineering, material selection, testing, facility design, installation, and operational practices
• Support full project lifecycle including risk, scoping, budgeting, forecasting, permitting, engineering, construction, commissioning, and documentation for various stakeholders
• Review, approve, and coordinate measurement facility designs, procedures, and gas handling practices; evaluate meters and data to ensure measurement accuracy
• Support regional technical resource during emergency events and provide reporting to internal partners and third parties
