Job summary

Carlisle is seeking an entry-level Helper at our Elk Grove Village, IL facility. You will assist operators on the production line, load and package products, build pallets, and perform quality checks while adhering to safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Forklift operation training provided regardless of experience.
• Ability to read documents and interpret facts and draw conclusions.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Good communication, organization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators at coil loading and packaging ends of the line.
• Build pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools.
• Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets with labels.
• Perform quality checks for proper lengths, widths, and weights.
• Read and understand production orders.
• Housekeeping of work areas.
• Operate a sit-down forklift.
• Meet production goals while complying with safety requirements.
