Modine Manufacturing Company in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Technician to perform basic maintenance, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting under close supervision. You will develop practical skills while upholding quality and safety standards in a collaborative team environment.

This role emphasizes learning CAD, reading blueprints, and supporting engineering with documentation, tools, and inventory management to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with metal fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to learn CAD.
• Reads complex prints and supports engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the engineering team.
• Identify solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs in assembly.
• Train others in design for assembly as directed.
• Coordinate proof-of-concept builds and report CAD feedback.
• Complete End of Line Tests (EOLT) on samples.
• Maintain and support creating engineering process documentation.
• Read complex engineering prints and update CAD files.
• Plan, procure and manage component inventory for projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and timelines.
