Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient usage of programmed materials.
• Provide basic support to efficiently build quality products and meet market demands.
• Study and recommend techniques to improve existing CAM and internal software products.
• Analyze and determine the most effective material size for production and recommend alternative materials to engineering when appropriate.
• Select and recommend tooling purchases for new equipment in conjunction with engineering and assist in coordinating the purchase of tooling with the tooling department.
• Create and adjust CAD files and collaborate with engineering regarding design enhancements for cost improvements.
• Troubleshoot basic machine programming issues.
• Assist in product development and cost reduction.
• Participate in special project teams, working outside the scope of normal process to facilitate an accelerated schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
