Job summary

Dunmore International Corp. in Bristol Township, PA, is seeking an entry-level Production Assistant to support Plant Operators in setup, turn-around, and operation of defined machinery per operating instructions to achieve standard quality and productivity.

Starting pay is $19.50 per hour with a shift differential; 1st shift Monday–Friday 6am–2:30pm; a quarterly bonus is offered; Dunmore is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred but not required.
• Experience with machine mechanics and reading/converting ruler measurements is highly preferred but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and effective written & verbal communication skills.
• Desire to learn and work as part of a team with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Works safely by following safety rules and procedures and handling materials.
• Ensures quality by complying with specifications and ISO requirements; records data.
• Maximizes productivity by assisting operators and reducing waste where possible.
• Prepares orders by setting up, staging jobs, and ensuring materials and tools are available.
• Produces/inspects products by monitoring quality and assisting in various machine operations.
• Documents operations and completes required paperwork per instructions.
• Completes operations by obtaining QA approval and marking rejects as needed.
• Other duties as required.
