Job summary

Texas Instruments seeks a Maintenance Mechanic in one of our wafer fab clean rooms to perform scheduled maintenance, track parts, and complete required qualifications to return equipment to production.

You will monitor maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities and participate in on-the-job training for certifications and career advancement. The role requires teamwork and ability to read technical instructions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule.
• Flexible to work day or night shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled maintenance work adhering to the approved best known method for all tasks completed.
• Track and assemble parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time.
• Complete qualifications required to bring equipment fully out of maintenance state and into production.
• Track critical data from performed maintenance to define improvement opportunities for optimal PM performance.
• Have an on-the-job training plan that provides a clear path to required certifications and advancement.
