Job summary

Athena Manufacturing, LP is seeking a CNC Machinist, Lathe-Level I to produce components to exact specifications using CNC machines for milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring and bench operations.

This on-site role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of consistent experience. You will read work orders, set controls to meet cutting specifications, operate equipment safely, monitor feeds and speeds, and ensure finished parts conform to tolerances.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of consistent working experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (lathe) to produce parts per specifications.
• Read work orders and set controls to meet cutting specifications.
• Monitor feeds and speeds to ensure tool life and part quality.
• Inspect parts for tolerances and document results.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to PPE requirements.
