Job summary

Eaton’s Fibrebond manufacturing campus in Minden, Louisiana is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to support the HPW team on the shop floor, tooling design, gauging, quality, and efficiency. You will analyze data to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements, and design processes to meet internal and external quality specs such as AS9100 and NADCAP.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Minden LA will be considered.
Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

Support the High-Performance Work Team on the floor, tooling design, gauging, quality and efficiency.
Conduct process improvements through collection and analysis of manufacturing data to improve safety, product quality, customer delivery and cost reductions.
Design processes to ensure components and assemblies meet internal and external quality specifications (AS9100, NADCAP).
Utilize LEAN and Six Sigma tools to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
Troubleshoot machine and tooling problems and support DMR processes to maintain continuous flow and on-time delivery.
