Job summary

Just In Time Staffing LLC in Elgin, IL is seeking an Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This direct-hire role focuses on supporting production operations on the production floor, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with maintenance technicians and operators, handling equipment troubleshooting, automation support, and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work on a manufacturing floor including standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to noise/temperature.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and production line stoppages.
• Support automated production equipment, conveyors, packaging systems, sensors, motors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Identify efficiency/quality improvements and contribute to Lean initiatives.
• Document procedures, equipment changes, and process modifications; support safety and quality compliance.
