Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Internship, co‑op, academic project, or hands‑on manufacturing experience.
• 2 years or less of experience in manufacturing engineering, assembly operations, equipment integration, production launch, or related.
• Foundational understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, automation, production systems, and continuous improvement principles.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment and tooling scopes, technical specifications, and RFQ inputs that align safety, quality, cycle time, throughput, maintainability, timing, and cost requirements.
• Support supplier proposal reviews, technical clarification, documentation follow‑up, and purchase‑order readiness with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams.
• Support assigned equipment projects through design review, build, Factory Acceptance Testing, shipment, installation, commissioning, ramp‑up, and final acceptance activities.
• Help maintain project schedules, issue lists, risk trackers, action‑item logs, and recovery plans for on‑time equipment launch.
• Partner with Product Design, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Facilities, Supply Chain, and supplier teams to resolve technical and launch issues.
• Assist with confirming acceptance criteria for safety, ergonomics, quality, cycle time, throughput, and compliance before handoff to Operations.
• Support documentation, training inputs, spare‑parts tracking, open‑item closure, and lessons learned for future launches.
