Job summary

Stratas Foods in Decatur, IL is seeking an entry-level manufacturing associate to support daily production, housekeeping and general plant duties on the floor. This role requires flexibility to work any shift, overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities include cleanup, sweeping, painting, lifting up to 50 pounds, forklift operation, sample retrieval and basic equipment maintenance. Prior forklift or machine operation experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Related Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Forklift and machine operating experience preferred.
• Equipment/Software Skills: Some computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, operate a motorized fork lift, and other duties as assigned by supervision.
