Job summary

Supreme Integrated Technology, Inc. in Houma, LA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level 1 to assist in assembling and fabricating custom projects and maintaining shop equipment.

This role starts with basic duties such as part preparation and keeping work areas clean while learning tooling, fabrication and maintenance techniques. With time, responsibilities expand toward independent work and progression to Level 2.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math including fractions and units of measurement.
• Experience in industrial shop/manufacturing a plus.
• ISO 9001 environment familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move and position materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, and cranes.
• Prepare parts for fitting or welding.
• Operate drilling, cutting tools to produce parts per drawings.
• Assist in welding/fabrication including layout and fixturing.
• Perform welding/fabrication tasks and weld cleaning.
• Assemble structures using drawings and specs.
• Record fabrication documentation and test results.
• Perform light maintenance on equipment.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and continual improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
