Job summary

Magretech in Bellevue, Ohio is seeking an Entry-Level Maintenance Worker to perform basic repairs of equipment, weld consumable items, repair and rebuild pumps, and conduct preventative maintenance under the supervision of maintenance leads, supervisors, or managers.

Responsibilities include cutting, bending and welding pipe, conducting daily walk-throughs, creating work orders, inspecting equipment, and performing general repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Ability to mig weld.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, and weld pipe and fittings according to drawings.
• Perform daily walk through and communicate with production supervisors.
• Use upkeep to track daily activities and create work orders.
• Repair of pumps including new motors, wiring, shafts, etc.
• Effectively communicate needs of supply items.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule.
• Complete work orders generated in upkeep and/or communicated by supervisors or managers.
• Keep shop clean and organized.
• Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
