Job summary

Baker Engineering, LLC is seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance of the manufacturing operation and facility. Under the direction of the Lead Maintenance Technician and site leadership, this position performs routine preventive maintenance, minor equipment repairs, basic troubleshooting, facility upkeep, and general handyman-type tasks.

The role emphasizes learning, ownership of assigned work, and helping keep the shop safe, organized, and operational;

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience with basic mechanical and facility repairs.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine repairs, inspections, and planned maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and basic service activities.
• Address minor equipment issues and facility repairs.
• Help with building upkeep and general handyman tasks.
• Support 5S, organization, and safety improvements.
• Coordinate with outside service providers and document work.
• Record completed work and communicate concerns.
• Complete other maintenance and facility duties as assigned.
