Job summary

Mercy Hospital Stoddard is seeking an entry level Maintenance Mechanic I to support hospital operations, learning moveable equipment, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic tube systems. You will gain hands-on experience using basic tools while ensuring a safe environment and high-quality care for Mercy.

The role offers full-time hours (40 per week) with daytime shifts (7:45–16:15) and opportunities for advancement within the Mercy facilities team at a large hospital campus in Dexter, MO.

Qualifications

• Entry level position requiring basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and movable equipment.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate with customers and follow instructions.
• Ability to read technical manuals and perform calculations.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures, electric shock, and loud noise.
